Interviewer & Host - Nikki Hallow
Nikki Hulowski (Nikki Rae Hallow) is a professional actress, comedian, voiceover actor and revered acting coach based in Canada and the United Kingdom.
A force to be reckoned with, Nikki’s dynamic and versatile performances have led her to international acclaim with multiple-award wins onstage, onscreen and behind the microphone. Honing her clown and improv-informed acting style, Nikki strives to encourage and create connected, heartfelt performances to allow audiences to share in the performance experience. A comedian at heart, Nikki performs live onstage as a co-founder of the internationally-acclaimed sketch comedy troupe, Marv n’ Berry, is a founder of the all-femme sketchy comedy troupe, Sketchy Broads, and improvises with DieNasty, the Improvised Soap Opera and Rapid Fire Theatre. Nikki can also be found behind the scenes writing for the screen and stage, and teaching her highly celebrated connection-based acting technique, On-Camera Connection, through The Actors Toolbox and ACTRA in Canada, and across the World.

Celebrity Guest - Brooks Arcand-Paul
Brooks is the MLA for Edmonton-West Henday, and Shadow Minister for Indigenous Relations. He is the first two spirit MLA in Alberta history.
Brooks is a 2S nehiyaw napew (nay-hee-ow nah-pey-oh) (Cree Two-Spirit person) from kipohtakaw (keh-poh-ta-gow)(Alexander First Nation) in Treaty 6 territory, a treaty which was adhered to by his ancestor catch-is-tah-way-skum at Fort Edmonton. Brooks has diverse experiences in Treaty 6, 7 and 8 territories within Alberta, and he continues to appreciate the magnitude of all the promises laid out with that relationship.
Before being elected, he was in-house legal counsel to the Alexander First Nation and was the Vice President of the Indigenous Bar Association in Canada. He also volunteered with a myriad of legal and political initiatives in Alberta.

Janis Irwin was first elected to the Alberta Legislature as the NDP MLA for Edmonton-Highlands-Norwood in 2019, and was re-elected in 2023. Janis currently serves as the Shadow Minister for Housing, after previously serving as the Critic for Status of Women and 2SLGBTQ+ Issues.
Janis will be supporting and cheering on her pal and colleague, Brooks, as he faces the marathon on spicy pain!
